And so began “Ice Cream Snuggles”!
Howdy Everypony! ^^
My name is Zachary Rich, but you all might know me better by my online persona “Flamingo1986”. For the past few months I’ve been heavily involved in directing and producing a fan-made episode based on the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, called “Double Rainboom”. I’ve been approaching the film as if I were in charge of a professional studio, and have thus far gathered an impressive crew of over 75 experienced artists who are working passionately to make the film not only match the quality of the show it’s based on – but equal it in terms of animation, sound design, backgrounds, voice acting, and storytelling.
You can learn more about the film via the links below:

That said, we’re currently looking for someone to fill the role of Rainbow Dash and are thus issuing an “Official Call for Rainbow Dash Voice Actresses” to audition for the part. We need a voice actress as soon as possible, so the deadline for submissions is August 19th, 2012. If you are interested in trying out, or know someone who is, then feel free to email us at: doublerainboomcrew@gmail.com
We just got out of our weekly online crew meeting! We looked at some of the work we’ve done on backgrounds, puppets, and shots and critiqued as we went along. In the next week we hope to release our next promo, so we went over what it will look like and made a banner to go up on Equestia Daily when it’s released. We also just got some great new audio from Rinachan and have been working on all the shots with the newly recorded dialogue!

Stay tuned!

Here’s one last background of Twilight Sparkle’s Bedroom. It was roughed by Kyle Zager and inked & colored by Kressent Rhodes!
I’m working on a dude’s senior film.
I’m making the website for the film right now for some reason, so it postponies my production of backgrounds a little bit, but whatevs.
On top of manning the website for it, I’m also working on doing some backgrounds for Double Rainboom by Zachary Rich.
Right now I’m working on doing layouts to later be inked and colored in flash. Fun times.
SkipperWing Double Rainboom Animation test (by SkipperWing)
So my good friend, “Flamingo1986,” is doing something amazingly special. Unfortunately, I’m not sure how much I’m allowed to say without breaching NDA (which conveniently keeps me from having to write a whole shpiel about it, eheheheh), but it is very much awesome. In order to do animation for this very awesome project of his, you have to do two animation tests: a smiley demo to prove you understand flash, and a flash puppet demo to prove you can make the puppets do funny things on model. Believe me those are two very different and separate things. Me? I did it because we have a “dialogue-with-a-pre-established-puppet: assignment in my digicel class and “Mr. Flamingo” very graciously donated his. So yeah. This is my test.
