AnonymousYes, we plan on making a tutorial on how to animate the pony puppets we are using for Double Rainboom, but it will probably be a few weeks before Zach Rich (the director of Double Rainboom) is able to find the time to do it.
Is there a way you can make a puppet of Princess Cadence? I haven't been able to find one but would really like one ;u;
AnonymousWe won’t be making a puppet of Princess Cadence because she doesn’t appear in the film (Double Rainboom was written before she was introduced to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic).
Other than the characters for Twilight and Rainbow Dash, will there be any other voice parts?
Yes, Pinkie Pie has a speaking role in Double Rainboom.
Howdy Everypony!
You must all be wondering what we’ve been up to. Well, we’ve been animating lots and lots of ponies and we’re closing in on our backgrounds, but we are only about halfway done with the episode, so we have to extend our release date to winter 2013. We haven’t been sending you guys too much artwork and information lately, but we’re working on several promo videos. We just finished our trailer music and it’s fantastic! It gets stuck in my head all day whenever we play it in our meetings.
I just wanted to let everyone know that everything is going well! We’re learning, and we’ve been figuring out new ways to approach the things that set us back. This last week Zach has been really sick, so we’re working out a system to keep things running when he falls off the radar. I would also like to announce:
We Will Be Attending Momocon!
Momocon is held in Atlanta every March and we will be there to show you everything and anything related to Double Rainboom -the first full length, fan-made MLP:FiM episode!
